Title: The Critical Mission of Keeping and Attracting Effective Teachers

This presentation will provide a discussion on how closely education policy is connected to issues of equity, satisfactory working conditions, and teacher shortages.  In addition, this discussion will emphasize the potential that individual districts and individual schools have to positively impact teacher working conditions and in turn reduce teacher turnover in general and specifically as a result of the complexities caused by the COVID Pandemic. Also, this presentation will discuss what impact improving teacher working conditions can have on student achievement.
